Originally, Mfumu Nkento was a party center, with no classrooms at all

Mfumu Nkento has been created in 2009 with the financial support of the van den Brink-family and their friends

Their students numbers grew from 250 to 800

In 2011, the Gertler Family Foundation supported the second renovation, necessary due to this increase of students
