From October 31 to November 15, 2019, an exhibition, called "Wildish Gambit", took place in Kinshasa. Almost all photos were taken by Roberta Marroquin, a Mexican photographer and artist, who spent a week in Kinshasa in March 2018 to take these photos.
The aim of the exhibition was to draw attention to the work of En Classe and to give En Classe a financial boost by selling these really beautiful photos. Click here to watch a short video of the exhibition in Kinshasa.
In addition to the Kinshasa exhibition and the official "Wildish Gambit - limited edition" (which will be exhibited in galleries in New York, Barcelona and Mexico), the photos can now also be ordered via this web page in a so-called "limited open edition", a unique opportunity because the selling price of these photos is 70% lower and after deduction of printing and shipping costs, Roberta donates the full amount to En Classe. Only a maximum of five per photo are sold.
It's hard to see on this website, but the photos are really museum-quality, and truly special. In reality, they almost look like 3D! And what is even more special is that all children in the photos are pupils of our own En Classe schools!
Ordering is safe and easy via the order form below and you will receive the photo within a week.
